Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a science based on the principle that proper structure
dictates proper physiology and prevents or lessens the initiation or
advance of pathology.
It is a science because it has been proven with case studies to lessen
internal and external disorders through minimizing vertebral and other
osseous misalignments on neurological and arterial/vain type structures.
Chiropractic is also a relief type therapy as it dictates relaxation of
certain osseous articulations (joints) thus causing less stress to muscles
and ligaments which in turn relaxes cells close to the surface area
(skin). It also has been proven to help balance hormonal entities such as
the adrenals and balance the autonomic motor system balancing the
fight/flight (parasympathetic vs. the relax (sympathetic) system & the
lymphatic system.
Chiropractic can help severe painful disorders such as sciatica to a point
where it can be acceptable to the patient’s tolerance with no side effects
whereas surgery and/or medications can on the long run cause other
problems and decrease the life span.
A Chiropractic visit is similar to seeing your General Practitioner except
there are no needles! Traditionally, a chiropractic visit consists of a
thorough intake, interview and complete structural examination followed by
a custom course of treatment.
Treatment may consist of 1 or more of the following including but not
limited to:
Physical Structural Manipulation (Chiropractic Adjustment)
Activator
Cold Laser Therapy
Massage Therapy
Nutritional Counseling
Exercise
Physiotherapy including muscle stimulation, ultrasound, interferential and
traction
Active and passive stretching

What is Cold Laser Therapy?

A laser is an instrument that produces light beam in a controlled
environment with various types of trigonometric properties. The
properties such as length of cycle, pulse, diodes, power, and milliwatts
are all terms that control the light beam which in turn creates an effect.

An effect could be heat, tear, or just simply a neutralizing effect of
tissue.

The laser that I use is called the TQ SOLO. It is a cold laser and
produces a neutralizing effect. This takes away inflammation and
discomfort.

Lasers that cut and cause heat are lasers that are used for various other
functions such as Warfare and Surgery.

The cold laser adds energy to the body known as TPT and speeds up the
healing and pain relieving process with no after affects. Furthermore, it
can be used in many situations where most things cannot such as fractures
and tears. The TQSOLO is by far painless, fast, and very inexpensive.
